Harborough Artists Cluster on view
During September 2009, the Harborough Artists Cluster, a professional group of artists, designers and makers in South Leicestershire, will be inviting the public to visit their studios.
This year’s Cluster group comprises 24 artists working in various disciplines including painting, drawing, illustration sculpture, photography, textiles and mixed media. The trail is publicised in a colourful guide and location map which is available through various outlets in the region and makes a great souvenir of the artists and studios visited.

All of the artists and designers will feature in Northamptonshire Open Studios, a three-week art experience encompassing the whole Northamptonshire / South Leicestershire region, more details on www.openstudios.org.uk
·‘Big Draw Live’ - Harborough Artists Cluster are holding their first ‘Big Draw¹ event in the Memorial Gardens (just off the Square behind Harborough Building Society) as part of the much acclaimed Arts Fresco street arts experience day on Sunday 13th September from 10am 4pm. This free family event encourages participatory artistic expression that reflects and contributes to the festival atmosphere and will promote Open Studios Northampton. · Art Windows – As a new ‘signpost’ event for the Harborough Artists Cluster, artists are collaborating with local shops (approximately 20) to display work in their shop windows. For more details contact Sheila Manwaring, 01858 464 571 or Sheena Henderson, 0116 279 9752.
